Well my dad just had to borrow it as his new ECODIESEL Ram is broken down again.

Giving more thought to the wheel situation, I cannot go full solid dark color. Giving thought to this wheel.

Finally got to hook it to the Jeep and try it out. Works extremely well to be honest. It is sized right.

After chatting with my fab guy about the box, cutting it and making mods it wasn't cost effective especially when you could buy a new tongue box less money. So I started researching and of all places Harbor Freight had a HaulMaster brand that looked to be the right size. So after dinner last night my wife and I headed up there and snagged the last one. With 20% off coupon $108. Perfect. Headed to Westlake and grabbed some stainless hardware and off I went.

Test fit for proper location:

The white "Sport" stickers are sticking out like a sore thumb--and not in a good way. Ever think about removing them, or swapping them for a darker version? They really don't match anything. I like everything else.

I am looking at options, the problem is I ordered a set and they are nt even remotely close to the right size and shape.

Thank you.

Well I figured out the axle under the trailer is a 5x5 bolt pattern which is a good thing as it is heavier duty axle, BUT leaves me almost no options for aluminum wheels. So I called my body guy and said I am sending my wheels out for paint.

Took them off:

Next morning I picked them back up, mounted and bead balanced:

Next step was some linseed oiling on the deck, my body guy always says prep is the key to the right paint job and cleanliness:

I am really happy with the way it turned out with the oil:

My aluminum rims have a 5x5 bolt pattern and a lot of guys with wjs run aluminum rims too.

Yes I know the OEM wheels are, but on the trailer it becomes an issue. The issue is the width and diameter. I need a 15x5 wheel or 16x5 wheel if I upsize.

didn't really think about that. Got a friend who's running 31s on his trailer so it isn't a problem for him.

Yea I don't want the trailer any taller at the ramp than it already is.

I need to get a rear ramp for mine and weld the tilt bed because it rattles a lot. Well my trailer needs a lot of little things in general.... It's a cheap junky trailer, but it hasn't let me down yet *knock on wood*. I dig the look you gave the trailer. More sleek than bare wood and white wagon wheels.

Oh and on another note, what size drop did you need for your trailer to sit level?
