After chatting with my fab guy about the box, cutting it and making mods it wasn't cost effective especially when you could buy a new tongue box less money. So I started researching and of all places Harbor Freight had a HaulMaster brand that looked to be the right size. So after dinner last night my wife and I headed up there and snagged the last one. With 20% off coupon $108. Perfect. Headed to Westlake and grabbed some stainless hardware and off I went.

The white "Sport" stickers are sticking out like a sore thumb--and not in a good way. Ever think about removing them, or swapping them for a darker version? They really don't match anything. I like everything else.
Thank you.
Well I figured out the axle under the trailer is a 5x5 bolt pattern which is a good thing as it is heavier duty axle, BUT leaves me almost no options for aluminum wheels. So I called my body guy and said I am sending my wheels out for paint.
Took them off:

An hour later:

Next morning I picked them back up, mounted and bead balanced:

Next step was some linseed oiling on the deck, my body guy always says prep is the key to the right paint job and cleanliness:

I am really happy with the way it turned out with the oil:

Headed home for a weekend worth of work:

200 stone edgers, 10 bags of garden soil and 20 bags of mulch to start:

I need to get a rear ramp for mine and weld the tilt bed because it rattles a lot. Well my trailer needs a lot of little things in general.... It's a cheap junky trailer, but it hasn't let me down yet *knock on wood*. I dig the look you gave the trailer. More sleek than bare wood and white wagon wheels.
