I wouldn't get one with a wood bed because the wood will get heavy over time from being water logged and you'll have to replace it eventually.

Lifetime warranty on floor, I will cover when not in use and will be stored inside.

The Jeep is staying irregardless now as I decided I would never find one like it again.

Anyhow got some stuff done last night.

Changed the oil first and it was looking pretty crappy. Got a fresh full of Delo 15W-40 with a Mopar filter.

Next was onto the pinch weld seam repair where someone had tried to lift for work at some point.

Started with this:

Not bad for having never done it before, added some paint where the teeth had removed it. My body guy is going to hammer and dolly the rocker square for me:

Onto the hitch and this is one of the reasons to keep it. I can't find a cleaner one:

Used the bracket for the harness and did a little custom work to mount so I didn't have to drill holes. Also loomed the harness for a cleaner look.

Decided it was time to install the KL badging. The Jeep was parked in garage all week as I worked on our Pilot at the shop this week. Got home and it was raining, so was a good day to work in the garage.

Took a break before the passenger side, as my buddy stopped by with his 2000 2 door XJ he just picked up, thats got some strange options. So its a 5 speed, clear glass and premium sound, otherwise loaded.

Got the tires rotated and cleaned and dressed while it was raining/snowing this AM. Also cleaned up the inner fenders while the tires were off and wiped the entire thing down with Nano Shock.

I am really pleased with the badges, it tied it all together. Thinking the wheels need to be gunmetal now.

Gunmetal wheels would look good. That's the route I would take.

I like the badges for sure. All except the front one I think. It may, just may be, a little big for the front. Buuuuut, I really like the darker badging on that color for sure.

I don't like the front either it's out of proportion. But the oe one looked funny with all the other badging. I am going to try and find a smaller one.
