The Jeep is staying irregardless now as I decided I would never find one like it again.
Anyhow got some stuff done last night.

Changed the oil first and it was looking pretty crappy. Got a fresh full of Delo 15W-40 with a Mopar filter.
Next was onto the pinch weld seam repair where someone had tried to lift for work at some point.
Started with this:

Moving through it with a dolly and a slide hammer:

Not bad for having never done it before, added some paint where the teeth had removed it. My body guy is going to hammer and dolly the rocker square for me:

Before and after:

Passenger to driver comparison:

Onto the hitch and this is one of the reasons to keep it. I can't find a cleaner one:

Stopped here as it got late and I was tired.

Got it finished up.
Had to move the light over, but that is ok it will be just fine.

Used the bracket for the harness and did a little custom work to mount so I didn't have to drill holes. Also loomed the harness for a cleaner look.

Went in through tail lamp hole, cut the slack off and soldered together.

Decided it was time to install the KL badging. The Jeep was parked in garage all week as I worked on our Pilot at the shop this week. Got home and it was raining, so was a good day to work in the garage.

Started with the 4X4 badges, measured, remeasured and then taped off.

Took a break before the passenger side, as my buddy stopped by with his 2000 2 door XJ he just picked up, thats got some strange options. So its a 5 speed, clear glass and premium sound, otherwise loaded.

Rear

Contemplated the front, went forward thanks to my buddy callie454.

Before the rains came again.

The Pilot home after some upgrades and maintenance.

I like the badges for sure. All except the front one I think. It may, just may be, a little big for the front. Buuuuut, I really like the darker badging on that color for sure.
I don't like the front either it's out of proportion. But the oe one looked funny with all the other badging. I am going to try and find a smaller one.
