No sorry i was trying to beat the monsoon storms that were rolling in. Welding, rain water, electric and lightning not the best combination out here in az or anywhere for that matter.

Not all 60 are this one just happened to be cuz of the year i guess. back then the ford p/up was more narrow. makes you wonder how many more are out there cuz this was way easier than cutting down a full width and re-doing everything. Oh and thx

ECTED is made by Auburn, don't confuse it with an Eaton E-locker.

Yes thax i did know that i like the idea of l/s when not engaged but all the rewiews i have come across have not been good. so the e locker is an option. i have used the good old detroit and have had one in my old toyota for over ten years and in the d35 that i just took out of the xj has been in there for 7 yrs or so. i will have lock out hubs so i guess it wont matter much.

Ok I have been a total slacker with any updates so here goes.
This is the start of the long arm build.
Frame side brackets. Mounting bolts a a little overkill. 3/4 with 1 inch sleeves welded in frame.

The stock control arm cutoff. You can see the repair from years of abuse with short arms and drop brackets.

I used rubicon express upper adjustable arms on this as they were not that pricey and saved time.

I am thinking here is a good time to take care of my track bar to drag link issue.

The TB to DL still not great so I did move the DL under the mount and it worked great.

The on to the crossmember. I used 2x10 I think it was and notched and plated for the driveshaft and the exhaust.

Checking ride height and then how much flex.
I think it works pretty good. But may want to get some longer bump stops and limit straps.
