Thanks. When I got the bike new that was the first upgrade I did. Over the years have considered ditching it but now I couldn't see riding that frame with any other fork.

You should really really consider a new fork, theres a reason noleen never really became succesful in the MTB world. An air fork would suit that style of bike quite well.

If it does the job, leave it be.

Tried to get the transcooler installed yesterday but the weather didn't cooperate. Instead ended up completing some smaller items.

Installed the Alloy USA wheel spacers, replaced the clock spring and oil Pressure sending unit. Finally able to put my dash back in.

The bad news. Even with replacing the sending unit and doing the tweak to the oil gauge my oil pressure still drops dead at stops when at operating temp. Runs between 20 and 30 PSI when on the throttle.

This has been a problem since I bought the truck. I had a shop mech gauge it a year ago, they said it's fine and held 45 psi for a hour they had it idling at op temp running. Combine this with my trans issue and I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Also a bit premature to believe this is a compelling enough argument to upgrade/overhaul the drive train rather than try and fix.

Checked the AC system. Ruled out the low pressure switch, High pressure switch on a 01 has four wires and not two so I need to figure out what wire is what before we can test. The system holds pressure and is charged, guess that's the bright spot.

Oh and I'm losing coolant again

Thanks again for the assistance Worm.

Just sent the heep off to Chaos Fab for some serious engine diagnostics. Prognosis not good.

That's got to be part of it. I would bet I have a hairline crack and compression issues and then there's my mpg. All of it adds up to not a good situation.

Such a great build, maybe time for a stroker. I haven't touched mine since it's first and only wheeling trip.

It's one idea being thrown around but unless my mpg changes drastically in the rebuild I'm not going stroker. There are a couple other options just need to make sure they align with my budget

Got word today my AGR steering box needs a rebuild after just 7 months of light use, there's play in the sector shaft the bushings would appear to be dead. Oh and the transfer case is acting up by not allowing you to shift from 4wd into 2wd.

Luckily I have a second TC bad news it is 90 miles from the Jeep. As if that weren't enough I'm expecting more bad news later tonight.

I thought I was unlucky.

This little stretch doesn't change things for you. Just another cycle for me but I can see the end now.
