what size are those duratracs?
AC compressor bearing seized so , installing ac delete pulley and removed every thing ac related under hood. Easy access to oil filter now. May relocate battery next.
Also some pics of recent floor repair. Pass side door leak caused this. Had to remake seat brkt too. Made it out of 14gauge which may be over kill but what the hay. As soon as temps go up or free space is available at shop I'll redo the liner
Its finally happened. No longer will my jeep be used as a daily commuter. Let the fun begin.

Yup got here fine. First thing I did was get all my wifes junk out of it! Those straps were a life saver. Thanks. Hopefully I'll have my build thread up on Wednesday with some good before and after pics. Your jeeps were some great inspiration!
Have you seen Clayton's Frint and rear long arm coil conversion? Looks pretty amazing. Shouldn't be too hard to fab up some spring hats like theirs and a track bar. After that its just like the front.

Looking at a more common approch to better flex and a more controled ride. Involves a minor strech and some chevy springs for the rear. Our long arm plan is very similar to the Clayton set up. Really looking forward to these upgrades. Glad to hear you made it, and I'll be watching your build.Originally Posted by steingass

Late night into early morning for two days and accomplished allot. We crammed in order to make it to the first annual JFO memorial day run. Had a blast and going to make it out their once a month. Dates will be posted a week before. Come one come all.
The bumpers with tie ins , steering box plate, rear lower shock mounts, all finished and installed by 6:00 am Sat morn and wheeling by 10:00am. Great trip with great friends. Thanks to Tim over at Great Lakes and his brother for being tour guides to some very challenging trails. Thanks to Jay for lending me his rear shocks and basically canniablizing his XJ.
Next on the to do list plate the frame for upcomming suspension change.

Jay Fab steering box plates now available. Highly recomend these to add to our front bumpers with tie ins.
After our trip to Bundy, it was very aparent I needed to trim fenders more. So I did. Also need to trim tube on bumper.
Jays Yota and Kerrys Explorer. Ya I know not Jeeps but still cool rigs. Great time wheeling at Bundy.
Thought my no sart no fuel issue was a cps. Changed it, ran for a couple weeks and BAM. No start , no fuel pressure in rail no little buzzing noise in tank........
. Guess I'm dropping tank and changing a pump. Was considering a tank relocation, but like the cargo space. Still something I may do later though.
