Going to get under the jeep today and get the front skid off so I can check every part of the steering system for the DW. I called Mr. tire in town and they said 129$ for an alignment. Does that sound high or about right? I have a new steering stabilizer on the way to replace the old one.

$129 is steep. Should be around $69.
It would be best to replace worn parts before the alignment.
I do the 'at home alignment', then take it to Tread Quarters for a free printout of all the alignment specs. Then make adjustments back at home.

So I was under the XJ today and noticed all the bushings... Yes all... Are shot. Cracked and broken. Im going to get new track bar and drag link soon. Soooo it's gonna keep sitting till those parts get here. It's been a while since its been out on a trip but it's good. Rather have it sit in summer and ready for winter than the opposite.

Im still working on fixing the Death Wobble. Ordering new TRE's (hopefully) within the next two weeks. Still figuring out if I should just buy a new drag link and stock track bar. With my 2" lift, its not really a problem, with the stock track bar. While I'm there, I am taking off the skid plate to repaint and add a camera so I can see whats going on under there while inside the jeep.
Today though, I scored 4 31's with good tread, and 1 bad one, all with wheels for $150. Here is the link: http://www.wheelcollision.com/store/...X-BRONCOII.htm
Looks like they have 4.5" backspace. Should do fine since stock is around 5.5" The tires are Cooper Discover and 1 BF. The one that is shot is bald and chewed up on the side. Im not sure what to do with it... maybe I'll search pinterest for ideas lol. I will be selling the stock tires for about 150 to compensate the cost and I already have a buyer so this was a clean deal.
Till next time!

Not sure why pictures are not loading properly...
Got the 31's all on and it sure looks better now. I will still do the fender trim, but I may hold off till later on in the winter. I am biting the bullet and ordering a new trackbar, drag link, and tie rod. Im doing a ZJ upgrade while Im at it. Going with Moog and Omix-Ada for the parts. All new tie rod ends as well (package deal). I will order those within the week probably and get to it in a couple weeks when I have free time.

Got the rear hitch on! I needed some self time yesterday so decided to get back under the jeep. It was a pain to get on, many holes just weren't big enough so I had to drill some out. But it's on there and will serve its purpose.
Got the new track bar and drag link in. Ordering the new tie rod next week. Hope to have it all on and ready for its first off-road trip. Going to Rausch Creek at the end of the month if the death wobble passes the 55 mph test down the back roads.
