Just read from page 1, good build so far man. I know all about doing mods at the cheapest you can or on a low budget. Had to post two pics of my hood which I decided to give away to a local wheeler. Yours looks real similar

not to shabby. Isnt it fiberglass though? Is it riveted on and bondoed?
I went to mobile dynamics in phoniex for car steros. I am very good with fiber glass and can make almost any shape you could ask for. problem is fiberglas is kinda tough to get attach metal and still look good without cracking. thats why i tring to go full metal. and hopefulll\y just a very light shim coat of bondo.

id just be worried about it cracking. if i was guna do fiberglass id do the entire hood. But thats way to much work for not that much of gain. i do like the curvaciousness of the fiberglass though. gives you alot more shape options. people who are good with metal can make nice flowing shapes but im not good at light stuff (18 ga i think is what the hood is)

Keep it up. Nice thread.
Wish I could do this **** you do.
I love the feeling of working on my Jeep.
When's the snorkel gonna be done? I want to see that.

you can easily. most of my stuff is done with a 4in grinder and a welder. try to make something and you might be impressed. if not, throw it away. Most of everything i am guna do to this jeep is gear towards anyone being able to do, with simple tools.
