So I'm happy to report that I've got too good of an offer to pass up. Tomorrow morning I will be paying for an L&l front winch bumper w/stinger and 2d-rings. (still deciding whether full sides or regular sides)
Also I've got an amazing price on a rear tire carrier with d rings and 3inch hitch reciever made by kreiders kustoms. This will be payed for and picked up after I get the front bumper.
I wouldn't mind making my own but the price I got for these are killer! Just couldn't say no and the reviews are great for both. I'll probably fab up my own sliders though.

So now I'm in the market for a winch. And I'm broke! Haha.
I'm also debating this: the money for the front bumper is already set aside. So that's out of the equation. So should I A: upgrade my steering, then buy rear tire swing bumper. Or B: buy tire swing bumper and then upgrade steering.
And I know, I know. I should just upgrade the dang steering before I go buying coll nick nacks. But I'm damn excited about having a nice tire swing bumper. :-)
Also, since I worked a TON of overtime these Last 2 weeks(i get paid biweekly) I'm going to be getting some parts for the jeep that's it's been needing. Coolant inlet tube, oil pan gasket, RMS, and other random maintenance type parts the jeep needs.
The plan it to upgrade the steering/armor then go to the axles and regear. I'll be doing ALOT of upgrades before the jeep invasion in June. Alot of overtime and side work to be done.
P. S. : this may sound corny but I am so excited to get this front bumper! This will be the first time I've had something other than a stock crap bumper. This jeep really is coming together, I couldn't be happier. I get compliments left and right and I'm even more excited about taking COTM. Thanks guys for voting I really appreciate it. Calenders on me all around!

Well here was my plans with the steering. There is always a decision to be made. Lol
A: zj tie rod and INSERT BRAND Here adjustable track bar.
B: one ton steering(not sure if I would want otk or utk. Don't really known much about steering upgrades yet)
I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for a beefy steering setup. Steering is important! Lol

Well otk gives you better clearance but you've got to ream the knuckles on the top side.. a little to invasive for my taste. When I upgrade later on ima do rustys steering. Beefy, inverted t design, and uses OEM tie rod ends that can be purchased at any parts store.

I think its 180 with the bracket. Considering your area is mostly mud I thinkb you be ok just upgrading to thezj tie rod or an inverted t setup. I've been wanting to do the wj knuckle swap but you have to fab your own tie rod and draglink cause the wj front axle is 3'' wider than the xjs

I thought I would stop in and check out your build... then I saw 55 pages and you got yours like a month before I got mine... sheesh... lol.
I like the way your build is going, doing somethings alike on mine, some different. After my lift this next week will be a bumper and winch as well... I may have to sell a couple of my AR's to get this thing done, but I'm going to do it, lol
I would work more overtime, but summer is knocking here in FL, and when I start really sweating, I'm going home asap after making my hours, lol.

Shoot it gets hot as ***** here in jersey I couldn't imagine Florida. Atleast we have the shop to work in but it's not air conditioned. And you can imagine how hot 9 buses with freshly run Detroit diesels can make a shop.
