Yeah I saw that I was checking it out the only thing I don't know about is it only has the one mounting point. But apparently that's what alot of people around here run with no problem.

Just ordered a medium duty spring to go between my antenna and mount from firestik. That should take the stress off of the mount. And add a couple inches of height.

I seen that too..then seen where people had mounted them with no problem..Im gonna get one. I dont see a problem with it being 1 bolt.. Torque it down and it rests against the tail light.. I dont see it going anywhere.

Yeah I know I tend to over worry about things like that. The antenna I have is a lot firmer than I thought it would be. I've always had the metal whip types. But just to make sure it will be good ordered that spring so It can have some play

Wow did those silverstars really make a difference. I was worried bc I have seen some people love em and some people say that they make no difference..
But let me tell you they make a WORLD of difference. Probably my most needed mod so far. You couldn't even see that my lights were on before literally. I'm not even used to being able to see light shining from my jeep. (unless the KC's are on) hehe
I haven't even made adjustments to them! Just slapped em in. Can't wait till they are dialed in just right.

If you want to get even MORE out of those new headlights, you could always do this as well:

I am planning on doing it as well. I am just not the biggest fan of wiring things up, lol.

Well I got my cb mounted up in its final resting place. Had to move my streamlight but I think it was the right move. Not just waiting on my taillight mount from xjfirefighter and the spring from ebay and then ill get her tuned up. It's already working flawlessly I'm very happy with it. I'm surprised at how many people really are still using these things especially in my area!
Btw, I went with down on the trans tunnel xj88. I like it that was a good call.
