Grade 8, take the bolt with you and find whatever fits the best/tightest.

I know that's why I'm saying thicker metal tends to be easier to weld lol

Well I bought a few washers and did more practicing and actually taught myself to weld lol. Now to do the real thing

And washers are welded on. I know it's not pretty but as long as it holds for now idc lol

Plus I have a 2 year old that I'm still trying to make up time with since I missed most of her first year due to being in Iraq and training with the military
