What was the deal with the steering box ? What did you have to do there ? Everything is looking good !!!

Randy from Oceanside, CA
No issues with the steering box, the bumper is a Warrior Products Rock Crawler bumper with brush guard, winch plate and d-ring mounts. It was about $700 from 4WheelParts which is going to beat out an ARB but I also had to wait he better part of 3 months for the manufacturer to catch up on inventory and get it shipped out.

I do love the bumper though and I think it looks great - definitely does not block airflow. Let me know if you have other questions...

Well, my muffler mount busted loose for the second time this month - it takes a beating on the forestry service roads I've been driving around here recently and I definitely don't take 'em slow. Any suggestions on an improved muffler mounting approach for offloading?

Great day out on the trails - I took my hands off the wheel long enough to shoot some pictures today. Went with the local Land Rover crew, so I was the "ugly duckling" of the group (ha) but had no trouble keeping up with the fancy traction control and locking differentials...okay, full disclosure they did blow me away on one section of open rock face where the open diff and shorter wheel-base had me down but a dude jumped in my trunk to weigh down the back wheel and we scrambled right up that ****er.

Anyway, this was a cool trail about an hour west of here called Hurricane Creek and the water was indeed running high today. Only casualty was my already faulty muffler mount that broke lose before I even hit the trail. Enjoy, hope these pictures come out okay, they're showing as tiny thumbnails when I click them but seem to be fine in attached mode.

And here she is back in the stable at home - I'm sort of surprised there isn't more mud all down the sides after the amount of rainfall yesterday:
