I hope you get your car back. I can't stand thieves. I wish there was more that police could do about it. But it's impossible thing. I would get a club for your XJ, to many XJ's are being stolen also to leave it to chance.

Looks like you had some fun in the mountains during our March storms. We just went welling up at Bunce by Lions Co. and the snow was plentiful up there.

Just found this thread and love the Jeep. I'm a big two door fan. I'm curious about the sound deadening. I know you wanted to clean it out but the question I have is did it work?

The sound deadening I like, its the expandable foam in the quarters that's giving me issues....but it does work. It's very quiet in the cabin, there are very few body squeaks and rattles and it stays warm or cool, depending if I've got the heat or A/C on. Worthwhile in my opinion if you're thinking about doing it.

e30's are my first love... I've had two, both were 89 325is. can't wait to get back in the game. best driveway combo I ever had was an 87 two door 5 speed cherokee and my first e30, also two door 5 speed. do you have a build thread for that on r3vlimited or anywhere?

Thanks man! I love my BMW, can't see myself getting rid of this thing for a very long time. Here's my thread about my engine swap. I did an M50 from an E36 and while it's been great for 20K miles, I've got my eye on an S50 from an E36 M3, craving more power

Also is the T1 in your name in reference to the BMX company T1?

Did a small bit of work today. This god damn expanding foam and sound deadening will be the death of me. Last night the lady and I went to go to dinner and her seat belt was jammed stuck so we took my BMW. Today I dug into it and found the tar from the sound deadening was jammed all in the belt and mechanism -____-

This crap is just every where. Had to chisle it out and cut away the remaining tar mat.

Also I noticed a strange burning smell today and noticed some of the tar had gotten hot and melted through a hole right onto the damn muffler. So annoying.

I knew I recognized your car from r3v. I've read your build a few times. And you are correct on the T1.
here's a pic of my last e30, essentially stock. lots of previous owner secret problems.
