Well here's a solid update...
3.4L on the stand
Comp cam 16-232-4
New cam, timing set, and lifters installed
Just about ready to go in
Adios 2.8L
Cleanest the engine bay has been in a loooong time, lol
Ready to drop in. Air pump has been eliminated and the cross tube bungs welded on the exhaust manifolds.
Neutrally balanced flexplate. You need this for the 3.4L swap! Do not use the 2.8L one unless you hate your new engine
Holley Truck Avenger 470 cfm carb and Edlebrock Torker II
Everything connected
Since this pic was taken it's been changed to a dual belt alt setup
2.8L oil pan was reused, along with all the accessories, and timing cover
Any questions?

Next was the rear disc brake swap on the 8.25
The disc brake setup from a KJ was used
Kiss this crap goodbye
Pretty simple stuff. Knock out the old studs and reuse the ones from the KJ
KJ caliper bracket installed and axle shaft back in
The basic idea of the finished product
