Thanks man!

Speaking of engine swaps, the UPS man dropped this off today.

I'm hoping to have the engine swapped in by this time next month.

Also went wheeling over the weekend with some NAXJA buddies. Had a great time, but had some problems with the Jeep. I broke something on the way to the parking lot being stupid, but I haven't looked into it yet.

Almost rolled it here. Not sure what the issue was as I've been down this line a bunch of times.

This Wrangler owner learned the hard way about the infamous tubes at the Badlands. If you check out my YouTube channel there's a video of his recovery.

Our group of 8 was down to 3 by the second half of the day. Had a great time exploring parts of the park I've never been to.

I'm hoping to get my beadlocks on sometime soon, especially since I had another bead off on this run. I ordered a set of 35x12.5x15 LTB's, but they're on back order currently. Hopefully I'll see them sometime next month.

Just read your build, nice work man! This makes me want to work on my Jeep even more, if possible. That hybrid cage is sick and the 2x6 tubular tie-ins are a good idea!

Sorry for referencing such an old post, but how did you like the MasterCraft's? I am looking at the same ones, just all terrain instead of mud terrain, and in a 31x7.5x15. Would they perform comparably to yours? Sorry, this is my first car, and I have a limited knowledge on tires...

I really liked my Mastercraft tires. My first set is still being used by a buddy and my set of 31's are on my winter driver. They wear really well and did really good offroad. The AT won't do as well offroad just by the design if it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with them overall though.

Thanks! Bernice is my DD, so I need something that will handle the road first, and be an offroad tire second, plus not a fan of mudding... Do you think a 31x7.5 will have too much of a pizza cutter look?

Just mocked it up in CAD, and it does look pretty pizza-cutter like, but when I look at pictures of a 31x7.5x15, they look average...

I think you'd be happier with the 10.5" width. They look right size wise on a lifted XJ. First pic is of the 31x10.5x15 Mastercrafts with 3.75" backspacing and the second is the same size Treadwrights on stock wheels.

That's probably what I'll end up going with, I just didn't want to shell out the cash for new wheels...

Thanks! No write up, but it's pretty straight forward. Just cut down the leafs out of the second pack and alternate them in with the other pack. The only one you won't double up on is the bottom leaf. In the end you'll have a nice seven leaf pack that works awesome.

You should be ok with your stockers depending on your lift height. The only thing you'll rub on will be the lower control arms and only when you have the wheel turned hard.

The lift I'm looking at comes with new LCAs, would that fix it?
