Default 1998 2 Door XJ build “Critter”

Heyooo!!! Here’s my 98 2 door xj! I’ve owned it for 6 days now.

At least it came with some decent tires!

Peep that 8.25!!!
It certainly looks rough but man, it runs great!!! I’m currently redoing the head liner. I’m trying to find something unique haha. I already ordered Rough Country’s 4.5 lift with the full leaf packs. And next I want/NEED to tackle the brakes. Talk about spongy as heck!!! But I have lots of plans for this little rig. I planning to build an overland type rig but I still want to crawl it also. After I get the brakes upgraded I’m thinking I’m going to throw in a couple lockers. Stay tuned!!!

Awesome start man welcome to CherokeeForum and the w door club

When checking out the front brakes check the slider rails. They are known to wear down and restrict caliper movement

I redid my headliner and I’m completely stoked! I’ve never done one before. It was pretty easy.
