Default 1998 Classic Build Thread (Pics Intensive)

About 2 months ago i sold my 91 cherokee 2 door sport and went out and bought a 1998 Cherokee classic 4.0 automatic with 242 transfercase and 127k miles, Jeep is in great condition. I have a lot of plans for it but as i go i will just post up pictures.....

Right now it has some type of 4in lift with 31" tires but hate how it rides and looks, just not what i am looking for. So hopefully i am able to change everything out soon!

I had to pull out the rear bumper and cut the bottom portion off since i will be making my own bumpers, plus the old ones were damaged

then picked up a few things,

then the dana 44

and recently been working on the roof rack

Also have a friend that builds gates and he told me he would help me build some brackets, came out great but i still need to cut them to get the rack to sit closer to the roof

I am debating on gettin some KM2's for my 3" front and 4" rear lift.
A.) because I just bought new 235's in June
and B.) if I buy this 6.5" LA kit, I cant be ridin on 31's! that would look silly BUT a buddy of my works at a tire shop so I can get my tires at cost

yeah thats true, and same here. my dad owns a mechanic shop and i work with him there and when ever the shop is free i am able to work on the jeep, and we have a lot of tire shop friends and yesterday i went to the goodyear warehouse to get my sister some tires and i asked how much for 35x12.50x15 and they said they only had the mud rover in stock for 183 a piece which is pretty good but they have a very aggressive thread pattern which im not sure if i want to do
