1993 Jeep Cherokee XJ Budget Build
Hey guys, I figured i'd make a thread on my XJ Build. Here she is when I first bought her.
I removed the brush guard thing, thought it looked kind of funny and the lights didn't work any ways.

Here is where im at presently. Just got a fresh tune-up!
New steering box (remanufactured). haven't got it installed. Im gonna order the JCR steering box spacer first.
Ripping out the interior to put new floors in and bed liner down. I got another thread specifically for this if anybody's interested.
What I thought was a bad exhaust leak was actually this flow master exhust! Never knew I had it!
was gonna remove transfer case for rebuilding. this is all the fluid that was in it. opps

Got the transfer case open, ordered some bearings and seals. All the gears look fine, looks like the previous owner may have been in it before but I'll get it put back together and installed soon. I'm guessing I should use ATF 4?

Got the transfer case back in, replaced all the seals and the bad bearings. Filled it up with ATF 4. Now that Ive finished that project, Im gonna get started on the floors again.

Spent a couple hours today to clean the engine with a couple rags and a tooth brush. Yet it's still dirty. Haha! I'm sure you'll notice the high mounted 130 amp ZJ alternator.

Figured I'd update the thread. Finished the floors and bed lined. Installed all the interior. Not as loud as I thought it would be without the carpet.

My old tranny fluid before I changed it. Lol and also some cool pics. Other things I've done but didn't get pics of include: new steering box, new power steering pump, finished rear end, extended all the breather lines, and a new track bar.
