4.0, AW4, NP242, and only 153k miles. Has normal issues. Leaking valve cover, CCV clog somewhere, dirty fluids all around. Interior has quite a bit of ash inside. Also it's been hot wired because the ignition switch is bad. Haven't decided if I want a budget lift, or a 4-5" lift, but I'm not in a hurry. I do plan on upgrading to a D44 or Chrysler 8.25, getting a rear locker and some 31" or 32" MTs.

Right now, I'm looking at adding another XJ leaf to my leaf pack (from the Budget Boost article) and doing an F150 rear shackle to gain about 3". For the front I'm thinking maybe a ZJ spring and 1" spacer. Also, PepBoys has Definity Dakota MT 31x10.50/15's $121 buy 3 get 1 free. Anyone have experience with these?

my jeep was IDENTICAL to to that one, except for the "limited" on the side, mine wasn't cursive, it was bold and capital. same paint, pin stripe, and interior, my seats were only cracked like that, but now they're ripped to all hell.

When I got it there was an aftermarket cap that wouldn't tighten down. It would boil out after I parked from driving. Got an OE replacement at the junkyard and it's holding, but I plan to swap out for the open style in the future. Getting a valve cover gasket tomorrow

Tried to fix the valve cover gasket leak with a cork gasket, didn't work. Used some gray silicone and it leaks less, but still not right. Also found out it's got a pretty bad leak from either the front transmission seal, or torque converter. I'm quite discouraged right now
*update* Returned the cork and bought the $40 rubber gasket. Lesson learned. I'm gonna keep my eye on the transmission for now, but it's pretty bad. When I park it, there will be about 8 drops making a half dollar size puddle. It also drips while driving, and smokes from hitting the exhaust

Transmission leak is being fixed. I'm pretty sure my rear leafs are worn out. Has about 1" sag compared to the front. Should it squat this much? I've got some Dodge van rear leafs to mix into these

Ive got oil sitting ontop of my valve cover just like in this pic. Ive replaced the breather tube ( closes to the front of the jeep) and still have oil on top. Could it be the oil filler cap (cap in yellow)?
