the worst way of spending $75 is buying browndogs motormounts classic polyurethane these things really sucks.
they are very cool, they made my truck a 2tons *****.
every single vibration from the engine run across the unibody and finally my ***, it sucks.
maybe the soft polyurethane are not that vibrating but i have read a lot about motormounts and they say that are too soft
. well idont know i just hate those fkers.

look close to the polyurethane in this last picture, this mount is smaller than the other one and is geting out WTF!! something is wrong with this guys (thought they were thw best)

go with oem motor mounts, they were in there for a reason. haha
also...the weight reduction sounds awesome. the weight of all that crap is pretty insane. cant wait to see what the new bumper looks like!

yeah its kind a weight reduction + bondo + new paint and new look
(still a work in progress)... today i just spent 3 hours taking out the front bumper and 5 hours grinnding and cutting them. no more pics till i finish
rear bumper 80lbs + 70lbs 33" tire + 35lbs tire carrier =205
front bumper 160lbs (more than me) +80lbs winch.....=240
that's absurd...

why a lot of people say theyre happy with this polyurethane motormounts??? there are tons of them in the market M.O.R.E., daystar, browndogs, irnman... and more.

(still need arround 15 hours to finish it)well your interested on the bumpers so lets start.
i have no gusset
just 1/2 and 1/4 stufflook my maths were wrong haha sorry...
this is the front bumper...

rear bumper 97lbs + 77lbs 33" tire + 88lbs tire carrier =262
front bumper 192lbs (more than me) +99lbs winch.....=291
now its not absurt now it is sick.

i want so much a welder machine so i can build a super high clearance bumper with a 9.0 rock crawler warn winch under the radiator. its a lot of space under there. but thats will be some day.
lets continue...
me and a friend spent hours taking the front bumper out.

i´m afraid about cutting the 1/2 plate i think it will be double hard haha

Wait, Why are you cutting the mounting plates down? I would keep them the size they are for extra mounting strength. Cutting 1/2" plate with a grinder is gonna be a pain in the *****, it will take a long time. I cut my 1/2" and even 3/8" plate with an oxyacetylene torch.

a friend of mine has a stainlessteel shop and he offers me tu but my bumper with the torch as you say, and i´m really considering because its gonna be hard to cut that *****.
i want a 3/16 bumper now hahahaha
