sweet rig man can you show me how you did your hood scoop and how you mounted that fan in there?
well i dont have pics of the process but i think i can express myself.
1.- cut a hole in the hood the same size of the fan. (10 inches)
2.- the hood scope, a guy i know that works with fiberglass for some tunners made it. it is 2 inches wider than the fan,and 2.5 taller, so the air can flow with not much pressure.
3.- ok the hot air runs OUT the hood.
4.- i have it in a direct rocker switch.
well i have been driven for 10,000 milles and without a problem, it fains a lot in here and no problem ether.
good luck if you´re going to go with this mod.
it works for me
today install the rc lca´s and i have the chance to compare them with the ranchos.
the ranchos are for a 3" lift
and the RC´s are for a 4.5 lift
and i have 5"
you can see the huge diference and feel it when you drive it. now its smoother, and i think the unibody is less stressed & the axle moves arround 3/4 of inch frontwards giving me more space between the flare and the tire.

well it was a great improvment changing that lca`s that are 1/4 larger than the ranchos.
now driven it is smoother and doesnt hit the shock mount when flexing. got to say that i love this modification.
tomorrow will upload some pics comparing the new bumpstops, steering stabilizer and pitman arm with the oem ones.

sure i like your build thread, and is very cool you use your rig as a rescue truck.
it takes to me arround 1 1/2 hours to make them greasable, but i dont install them in my house . i went to a friends garage to do that. there we lift the truck & use some chains to pull frontward the dana 30 because this lca´s are a bit larger than the old ones, there they change the steering stabilizer, pitman arm and bumpstops to. all take´s me arround 3 hours.
here i comparethe old & new stuff.
the pitman -arm doesnt show so much diference but the bumpstops & steering stabilizerd do.
