Thanks, that helps. I think I"m going to go with those tires!

See you're from CO. My brother's out there and he's got a cherokee too. I can't wait to make it back out there.

Got my swaybar discos in the mail today and took it out to do a little bit of a test run before the trails are opening up in the next few weeks. I can totally stuff all four tires, but I have to watch how far the opposite one on the front drops down til I get something figured out with my brake lines, I'm suprised they didn't break!

Not only would they look awesome, but I think they're necessary! I took it out and gave her hell on a 3 day camping trip and ripped off ALL 4 FENDERS! Stock ones suck anyway, but I'll have to trim them more and make them do til I can afford new ones!

Default A couple of Videos

Up the obstacle. The first time I did this I swear there was almost ZERO wheelspin, it was smoothe . The camera spoils it of course, but at least I made it up again

Going back down. Bashed up my fender a little bit!

Default Needle in the HayStack! Talk about a lucky find!

So I was out wheeling in the XJ (life is goooood ) and ran into a guy doing the same thing but had some sour luck. He flipped his rig wayyy out in the boonies and ended up blowing his motor in the process so he was up the creek without a paddle. Facing a monstrous towing bill and fines from the EPA for spilling oil and antifreeze, I helped this guy out of a huge mess. In return for me recovering his jeep and towing him through a handfull of rough obstacles and all the way back to town, I get to take any parts off his totalled XJ that I want.

So, here are some pics of his wadded rig, and some of the stuff I'm putting on mine! I was originally planning on purchasing some AJ's Offroad Armor Super Rails, but hey, these are free so I'll use them for now. The rear bumper is super nice but kinda ugly, the front bumper is stout and hideous! I think I'll have to sell the front one, might use the rear, we'll see. Check it!

Fugly Front Bumper:

Nasty rock rails!

Rear Bumper, anybody know where it came from?

Smashed Drivers Side:

And the other Nasty rock rail!

So, I spent all afternoon cleaning these up. I got off all the rust and other crap, primed them and painted them, I think they're worthy of my rig now!

Also took off a K&N Cone Filter adapter and the filter, but the filter had some nasty holes in it so I replaced it with this cheap thing.

He flipped it trying to go up this! The pic is taken from an angle that doesn't really illustrate how insanely steep this is, but it's nasty. His rig was budget boosted too and had front and rear swaybars still hooked up so he really shouldn't have even tried. Had highway tires too!
