So after a run in with a plow truck in Chantilly, I'm either going to be looking for another XJ, rebuilding, or parting out my 97. Waiting on the adjuster to give their thoughts. Airbags didn't go off, and I'm in one piece, so I guess I can't complain too much.

I'm pretty sure it's totaled bud... Any frame damage on a Cherokee is an automatic total in the state of Virginia it gives the title inrepairable, so I don't mean to be rude but what is the interior color

Its got a tan leather interior. If what you say about the frame damage and VA is true, then how did a friend of mine manage to get one rebuilt through insurance about a year ago? It was never right after, but to my knowledge its still rolling around near Harrisonburg.

Yeah I thought that's what you meant, but wanted to be sure. Insurance did deem it totaled, but I have no idea what the amount will be. I spoke with the adjuster and he said there was no obvious structural damage, as the radiator support and bumper took the hit. I happen to have access to a very nice alignment machine at work, which can show whether or not the body is straight, and whether it meets OE specs. If I find its just totally out of spec, its getting parted. Otherwise, I've already got a line on some very cheap/free used parts, and get shop pricing at work, so repair should be cheap.

Will do. I'll probably have to start a build thread, even though I technically began that process a while back. For now, its just a matter of figuring out a spot to stash it while I either resurrect it or strip it for parts (the whole suspension is basically new, along with a lot of other stuff). The shop is in a crowded area in Fairfax, so we're always short on parking. I can get away with keeping it there for a few days, but realistically anymore than that just isn't possible. Still waiting to see if a friend near Luray can help me out, but in the meanwhile if anyone here has space for it, I'd be willing to pay or help you wrench on your stuff in return.

If you part it most likely ill buy all the interior panels if they are the ones I'm looking for... I kind of love the 97 plus interior lol
