Been busy, just got married, trying to scale back on the two jobs I'm working to find a better one. Hope to get the Cherokee lifted a little over the winter. Gonna try to catch up with the Veterans Day Parade to say hi and put faces to screen names.

Well its hack and tap time for me. Who here in the area has done one and would be willing to help me do mine? Beer, food, drinks whatever will of course be provided. I've never really done any serious tapping so I'm hesitant to do this one.

IronRock has a drill jig just for that.
Cutting the shaft was not difficult. With engine running so the shaft is turning.
When cutting, I suggest full clothing and a face guard because the sparks are flying and bouncing around.
I offer my garage and tools anytime, including drill bit and tap. But I am on Outer Banks, might be too far from you.
Good Luck
