NOVA/MD radio troubleshooting help request
Daughters '01 XJ has the factory Inifinity sound system in it.
Front channels aren't working, replaced blown speakers and still no deal. So it's either the amp or head unit.
Seeing as how the amp is a snap to get to under ther rear seat(as opposed to taking the dash apart to get to the head unit), is there any chance that a fellow owner would be willing to spend 15 minutes and let me try a known good working amp?
Or if somebody has one to sell for cheap, I'd just go ahead and buy it to swap out.
I'm in Ashburn, and work in Rockville, so I could meet arond either location.
Thanks.

Hey Steve.
Something else for you to look at would be the wiring that feeds into the doors. I have a 2000 and my door speakers are hit and miss, opening and closing the doors can make the speakers cut out.

Thanks for the reply (and I realize this isn't the repair section of the forum, sorry... I originally posted here just to see if I could find somebody local).
I actually pulled the rubber tube/grommet out of the door and inspected the wiring when troubleshooting a power window problem, and it didn't appear to be the issue, but I may give it another look if I can't narrow it down elsewhere.
Thanks.
