My XJ just got totaled and I bought it back from insurance. IT IS STILL COMPLETELY DRIVEABLE. I DROVE IT HOME 90 MILES (AT 75MPH) AFTER THE CRASH. The wreck was very mild. Driving down the highway a car changed lanes and hit my passenger side. I came to a stop and the car swerved in front of my car, rolled in a ditch, then rocked back down onto my hood. All the damage is shown in the pictures. I'm being 100% honest with this post.

Passenger side has lots of dings.
Driver and passenger doors pop off of the fenders when opening, but still open with ease.
The driver side headlight and bezel is completely gone.
The right front wheel (shown in the picture below) was slightly bent. The tire is still in perfect condition, but the wheel would need to be replaced ($52 cragar soft 8)
The XJ IS 2WD. I REPEAT, IT IS 2WD. HOWEVER THIS IS A GREAT JEEP TO DO A 4X4 SWAP TO.

Here's all of the good:
In the last 5,000 miles the following things have been replaced. Water pump, temp sending unit, suspension (went from stock to Rough Country 3" AAL), BFG 31x10.50 ATs, Cragar soft 8s, 35% tint on the front and 20% everywhere else, Pioneer DEH-110 stereo, front door speakers replaced, flat black DIY paint job (not rattle cans). Only 141K on everything.

These tires and wheels have less than 4,000 miles on them, and I have the receipt to prove it. The Jeep ran great up until this wreck, and still runs great, but I simply don't have the time to put into it right now.

Asking $1,000 OBO. I'm not willing to part out because I don't have the time. Buy it for $1,000, keep the tires and suspension, part out the rest, and you easily can make money.

Located in Charlotte, NC. The picture with the white coupe is how it stands NOW. It's really not in bad shape.
