Default Totaled: Buyback & Part-Out

I rolled my XJ two weeks ago, and the insurance company wants $715 to buy it back. I don't have the cash to spare cause I need to buy a new Jeep, and I'm about to move to a new apartment.

The Maryland guys know me, but this is open to anyone. If anybody wants to donate to the Buyback Fund, let me know how much you can give. I can pay you back with parts of equal value, or I can give you cash when I get it.

The insurance company is gonna crush it, and I don't want that to happen. I've spent a lot of time in junkyards since I got it, and I know there are still a lot of parts people can use. I'm interested in stripping the big stuff that survived the rollover, and any little things people need. Whatever is left after business slows down will be sold to a junkyard. At that time, I'll post up so people know where it is.

Details of the rig are in my signature, and pictures of how she sits now are in my photo album here.

Please Note:
1) People who came out to help with my lift have first dibs on any lift components. They earned them.
2) I cannot check to see if any particular parts survived the wreck. The Jeep is in Baltimore at a salvage yard where it was appraised for insurance.
3) The interior may be in bad shape. Seats were nearly perfect before the crash, but it sat upside down with gas pouring out, and three of the windows are gone. I don't know what condition it's in now.

If you're interested in helping, let me know.

I can be down for another $100, maybe more. I'm interested in front coils and injectors. PM me how it goes, or we can talk on Wednesday if you head down to VA with me.

I do have an adjustable track bar, but it may be spoken for.

Please look at what's listed before you ask. I don't want this to be like the for sale threads that get cluttered with repetitive questions.

I can coff up like 150, maybe a little bit more if I scrounge around. I'd be intrested in the transfer case *231 right?* and front axle shafts assuming they survived.

NP231, yes. The wheels were bent all to hell, but I think the axles are okay.

I raise mine to $200, then we can get it with another $15 and figure it from there.
