Complete 1999 xj 4x4, runs but stalls when it reaches operating temp. 4.0l/auto 215k miles same owner since 2000. No rust! Never off-roaded. I have MD. title and lien release. I was told by po it was diagnosed with a faulty PCM. If anybody needs anything let me know.

 

How much for the whole truck?

 

$700.00 obo takes it. It has like new stock size G.Y. wranglers and recent alignment. Interior is dirty, dr. seat is broken. Body is in good shape.

 

What color is the body? What color is the interior? Does it have skid plates? Cruise Control? Which transfer case does it have?

 

Forest green body with grey interior. I have it at my work, i can put it up on the lift if anybody is interested in taking a look at it, it's located in canton near fells point. I can also take some pics tomorrow and post them here. Brian, right now i can't answer the rest of your questions, i'll take a better look at it tomorrow. I do know that it has a dist., not coilpacks like my 01 xj had.

I'm just curious as to why you don't put a ECM in it or is there other problems with the Cherokee

 

lookin for a radiator...found out mine has a small leak somewhere. Shipped to Union, Oh 45322?

 

New ecm is $600. from dealer. I was informed from my uncle who is the service manager at our local jeep dealer that they can't flash a used ecm, only fix is a new ecm. Right now i'm concentrating my $$$ on my chevelle project. The jeep does run and drive until it's warmed up, then it stalls.

No, a friend of a friend bought it. I rollbacked it to his house yesterday. Kinda sucks tho, i was told that a used pcm out of a donor cherokee would not work, my uncle at the jeep dealer told me that a used pcm could'nt be flashed, only a new one could. The new owner went to crazy ray's with the old pcm, pulled one with matching part#'s out of a 99 cherokee, installed it and it's running great. Today he got temp tags for it and drove it to my work. I'm happy for him because he was in dire need of a vehicle and i'd rather see it fixed then parted out and scrapped.
