Are you going to do anything to fill them in so its not just the open door? Those edges have to be sharp

 

yeah definitely, I think the only difference would be the way they go into the hinges because I have the old style

 

I'm dying for tube or half doors

 

Ive got an extra drivers door I've been thinking of cutting down, and cap the center with diamond plate to match the floor. Probably cut the top section off and relocate latch to inside bottom part of door. Maybe summer project.

 

Just saw an xj on veterns highway in bristol with about 5.5" of lift. The top half is red and the bottom half is black and it had a sticker on the front fender that said chericon. Is that anybody on here? It looks familiar to me but Idk where I've seen it

have you ran doorless and had any problem with cops? i know legally in pa to take the doors off you have to have something on then that securely latches.

 

Nope never tried.

 

I got pulled over yesterday in bristol without my doors and the cop said its not legal at all except for offroad use because it won't pass inspection. I forgot to ask about tube doors or half doors though but the way he was making it sound was that it isn't legal to remove the doors at all.


Cop- " Explain this nonsense to me with jeeps and having the doors off."
Me- " It's jeep thing"
