Well the technical name is "reverse cut", gears still turn in same direction. The gears are cut so the strong side is facing opposite, giving your gears more strength

This is mine and my girlfriends but instead of 31's im on 33's now with 4.5 rc lift. Me and couple buddys are planning to go down to gut to play on some rocks and do some fishing then today if anyone is interested
