They are almost fully round but are missing a slit so the wires can go there when putting the socket on the sensor. Just for you guys that have never seen one....
Yea I've been using 2 different kinds of o2 sockets, a shallow and a deep and been hitting with a torch and still it won't budge. I'm gonna try that air can trick though and see if that works.

I had to bust my sensor off and weld a wrench to it to get it out...

First of all, no penetrating oils... not a good idea on exhaust. What you want to do is take a torch and apply a good amount of heat to the pipe surrounding the o2 sensor. Once you've got that nice and hot, take a can of that compressed air they use to clean out keyboards, turn it upside down, and spray the o2 sensor. Have a wrench handy to start wrenching on it right away.
That air can trick worked like a charm. I hit it with the torch and then the air can just like you said and it came off with no problem. Thanks a lot for that trick. That prolly saved me a lot of time and money

I just found a pic of my cat the day I installed it. Took it for a good hard test run and saw that it had turned blue when I got home. I've always wanted to get a camera set up watching my header collector to see if it glows when I run it hard. I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I didn't believe the guys at work when they told me about this so I let them all spray me, it was pretty funny and I had marks on both arms for a few weeks.

Where did you get your cat from? I really need to replace mine and that looks much better than an oem one. How is it for flow compared to a factory?

It's from performance-curve.Com ... I just posted a link to the catalytic converter page on his site yesterday. It flows great compared to the stock unit and spun converters are a lot better for offroading because they don't get caught up as easily.

ok i found it, 50 bucks isnt bad for a converter. I have a super 44 flowmaster right now and im thinking about going to a 10 series because the case is so much smaller. only thing im afraid of is how loud it will be. The super 44 gives a nice sound but i got the whole bottom of the case dented in already. im not too sure what to do

I don't like Flowmasters personally. I am a magnaflow and borla type of guy. Much cleaner sounding than flowmasters. I've had 14 exhaust setups on my rig and the magnaflow I've got now is by far the best I've had. It has a nice clean exhaust note through all rpm ranges and has a nice balance of torque and top end.
