If the steering gear box is leaking it would be best to replace also be careful that you don't break the aluminum spacer if you do it would be best to order a SPACER which is made of steel which will last longer.Originally Posted by enash965
Well before I start wanted to get some opinions on if I should just replace it or not. Here's some pics of the steering box.

But I'll be rocking the XJ this weekend after I kick the Excursion out of the garage today and bring the XJ in for new leafs and a new rear driveshaft. And maybe a traction bar if I'm feeling extra froggy. Lol

One of my co-workers lives on river drive in hellam township. He has a private boat ramp in his backyard. All he gets done doing is bass fishing. Sometimes the bite is so good he pulls one in just about every cast.Originally Posted by foxmxrcer

November 12, rausch Creek.... Anyone wanna go? If anyone wants to, I'd probably be camping Friday 11th into Saturday, and wheeling Saturday.

So since May my 2001 has lost about a 1/4" of coolant in my reservoir bottle. I really don't drive it that much, maybe twice or three times a week around town and I monitor my coolant level every week. I have put about roughly 500 miles on it since May. I would assume if I drove it as a DD the coolant loss would be more significant.
We have finally settled into our new house and I got all my tools unpacked. I decided to work on rebuilding my differentials this Saturday. While I was doing the front Dana 30, I checked the bottom of water pump to check for leaks. I noticed dried coolant around the general area and the pumps bottom feels and looks wet. From my research everyone recommends going OEM with the water pump. I will also replace the t-stat and lower and upper radiator hoses while I'm in there. All OEM parts. The PO replaced the radiator last November and it looks in good condition.
Can you guys look over this list and help make certain I am ordering the right materials?
OEM Water Pump
PN- 4626215AF
Apparently this is discontiued PN and replaced by the following:

OEM Upper Radiator Hose
PN-52006301
OEM Lower Radiator Hose
PN-52028286AE
OEM Thermostat 195F
PN- 52028186AC
Thanks for your help, any suggestions would be appreciated.
