Your battery cables probably are badly corroded by now. Might be good idea to replace those

mines an 86 longbed with a 2.5 and the 5 speed peugot(?) manual trans.
Ran rough on the way home, real low idle slowing down but never died on me.
its weird because i drove it like 40 minutes home, idled for a few minutes Saturday morning, replaced the muffler and now it wont start. I can smell fuel so I'd assume I'm getting fuel, and air so I'd assume spark is my issue. I remembered I have an inline spark tester so I'm gonna try that tonight.
