had a bunch of codes in memory and got them cleared went through the cycle and now no more codes. now i can go back to inspection and see if i pass.
had so many things wrong that it was making the motor run rich and it blew out the catalytic converter and my reading was over 1000 ppm(standard is 220 ppm)
now if i knock off all the rust and make the XJ lighter i'll get great gas milage,LOL.
aaaahhh! the small things are so rewarding.
12/20 oh well, didn't pass, the first reading i got was 2057ppm(didn't remember correctly), that was brought down considerably by changing cat to 425ppm and got a code now that no signal from oxtgen sensor. going to put that in dive for awhile and see what that does.
is this what you consider a thread? not really a build just thought i'd document what i did so someone else would benefit.

hey jeeps. im fairly new to the boards and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a college student in south jersey. I own a 1990 2 dr cherokee with a 4 in lift on 33 a/ts. I have plenty of future plans for this jeep as well as repairs. I usually cruise around wharton state forest on the weekends with my father and his 1990 cherokee.

Hello all,
Just bought my first jeep at the beginning of this year and fell in love with the thing already.
It's a 1997 SE, 4.0 with 102000 on the clock, mostly stock drive train, 4.5 lift I believe its a rusty's lift, 33X12.50 Maxxis big horns on american racing atlas wheels, trimmed fenders with TJ flares, JKS brake lines and disconnects.
There is a lot of great info here and I'm really excited to Mod her further and looking to get some more beef on and get her on the trails come spring and really have some fun.
