I'm Lawrence. Had this current XJ for 3 years now. Stationed at McGuire AFB, NJ but I'm originally from southeastern PA. I just got back from Afghanistan and still have to replace my front o2 sensor.

Hi, My name's Tom and here's a "Jeep Wave" to you all!
I probably waved at you when I saw your Jeep - Did you wave back? Being friendly is not all that common a thing in the Boston area but it should be! Is it a Jeep thing that only we understand?
I'm a former '96 Wrangler owner and the original owner of a '99 XL with almost 170K miles, it's a mostly stock daily driver (except for a few minor improvements/additions) that doubles as a beach buggy for surf-casting off the Cape Cod National Seashore rather than being used as a full blown off-roader (future plan). Yep, Cherry-o has been worked pretty hard, seen his share of sticky situations (and has impressed the hell out of me), broken parts, dents, scrapes and has earned my respect and admiration over these last twelve years of service. I've no regrets in buying this ride and if I could do it all over again then I'd do it all over again!

Irongrave,
That's a fine and serious piece of work. You should display it proudly!
When my Cherry-o's days as a daily driver are done, I want it to grow/morph into as impressive a machine as yours!
Until then, keep the shiny side up!
Regards,
Tom (a.k.a., Cherryokee)

Hey My name's Kristina, I have a 92 XJ and I'm from WNY. I haven't done any mods to it, because I recently bought it. I used to have a 2002 Liberty, but I wanted the straight six power. I'd love to mod it, but I can't decide what to do first. I'm thinking the rocker panels have to be fixed, or tires. I can't decide haha. Love jeeps <3
Good eye bro'. You nailed it. It's an older photo (September, 2004) - down near the Chatham tip, close to the mouth of the harbor - well before the breach occurred. "Living out there in the summer" sounds like an awesome existence. I'm jealous that I only get to make an annual pilgrimage (for a few weeks) after Labor Day.

Regards,
Cherryokee
thanks tom.
