Not to mention I was on one of their specials and they tried to raise my bill every month for that year....

It's the only provider I get in my apartment...using the word "provider" loosely. My cable hasn't worked properly since I started my service two months ago. they're sending out a technician tomorrow, finally.

I have 20mbps down/6 up. Realistically, speedtest.net shows an average of 14 down/6 up, but that still isn't bad for $35/month. What I'm paying for cable pisses me off, considering they still haven't fixed it.

I've been with directv forever. I have Comcast Internet and speeds have always been solid. I do a lot of online gaming and it keeps up.

buy your own cable modem (Linksys) and those speeds will go way up.

Somewhere in the mix you have a spool of Rg-6 in there. That's gotta speed something up right! Jk.

Welcome to MD. I'm a transplant, too. Raised in Cleveland, 6 months in Georgia, 2 years in Germany, and now I'm in Frederick for 4 years. Busy Saturday? We're gonna convoy up to a new off-road park in Hagerstown.
