Giving the Jersey guys a heads up. Globex in Toms River has sick deals on LED light bars with a lifetime warranty. I just picked up a 13.5" for $179.

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't have to mod the strut itself, but the plastic molding around the ball in the rear was keeping the strut from moving so it needed to be trimmed

The white around it is where I tore the plastic away. Works great now. These struts are much stronger and hold up the hatch perfectly

So I had my RC xflex 4.5in lift put it maybe 5 months ago. It's been holding up well, but I've had to have tie rods replaced due to death wobble. I used the tcase drop and I have no driveline vibrations. The only problem I have now is my brakes suck with 33s and my trac bar seems to keep coming loose. My steering is also a little loose. Any suggestions or cheap mods for a noob? It's also my DD. thanks

There is a vender on here that sells ceramic pads and drilled/slotted rotors for 99 bucks. Also you might want to look into a zj tie rod and a beefier track bar. Or go with one ton steering. I just put 33's on my xj. My steering is good for now.. But my. Brakes are a tad weaker so that's my plan.

It's a RC adjustable trac bar. Thought it would be strong enough, but maybe ill look into a better one. Another thing is that when I turn at high speed (50+), my steering does shake a little. That may have something to do with the tracbar, but I don't know. I just want my steering to feel safer

Part of it may be that your expecting more than mechanically possible. Turning a 50+mph will never feel great on a 4.5" lift.

Alright as long as I know my tracbar won't fall off or I won't loose control, that's all I care about. Still kind of new to the whole lifted xj thing
