Good morning!
Good score! Those hood vents would look good
Gotta find me a set...
Welp.... they were LONG gone by the time I got there lol. Oh well.. managed to pick up a set of 5.9 ZJ hood vents, a 94-96 dash trim bezel (smoother plus someone had cut on mine around the radio and it was annoying me), some parts for my wife's car, and a license plate bracket off an Olds Aurora... Jeep is finally gonna have some kickass reverse lights.
Nice! Made out like a bandit on that one, Lee.

I'm not swapping the 15 to the 4cyl, it's for another project. If I swapped it behind the 4cyl, I'd lose my L range. (The 1st gear is lower in the AX-4 and AX-5 than in the AX-15)

Good morning guys. Still no wifi from ATT and cell service is still kind of spotty, but I'm trying to make the best of it and log on when I can.
The Staff here has been handling just about everything because of my situation but any issues or questions, don't hesitate to PM, text or call me.
On another note, helped a 19yr old get his first vehicle going. A 1993 2wd XJ.

Afternoon, fellas.
Hell yeah, can't wait to put em on. I really want the Napier vents like Lee has, but I paid a fraction for these lol.
Junkyard score today: fuel tank in good condition WITH a factory steel skid for 39 bucks. And this yard doesn't punch holes in their tanks.

Had a good day in the JY yesterday up in Georgia. Anybody know if one of these off an older XJ will have any issues on my 98? Wiring and mounting I can do. Just don't know if there's clearance issues with motor or anything else

I believe that's actually the trouble light reel from an older model GM truck. I don't think the XJs came with anything but a fixed light. SO essentially, it's going to be a custom application regardless. You'll just have to mock it up in a few places and see what works best.

Yes, Renix era's used a ton of GM components. That's why I laugh whenever people say "You can't upgrade the Renix like an ChryCo." (it's not a high output people...) or "You can't find replacement parts easily for the Renix."

Good morning guys.
Had to do an emergency recovery of three Wranglers last night. Friend called me at 10:30 saying three vehicles were stuck in a certain location. Found out that location was a sawgrass pond in the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge (Everglades National Park). They decided to drive over the levee and tear it up with other vehicles. I called my buddy at FWC (Game Warden/Federal Park agents) and told him the situation and location to which I was headed. He had two officers meet me and they followed me in as far as they could then rode the rest with me. I got them all out but all the vehicles, stuck or not, got MAJOR tickets and a few court dates to appear. (I didn't because I called about doing the recovery) Probably a dick move calling FWC but 1) I got fast and easy access to the location without having to tear anything up and 2) This is FEDERAL land! I hate when people tear up great areas just because "There's no legal wheeling areas for mudding left." I'm actually afraid to go look at the area today to see just how much damage was done to my home.
Gary, hope things are going better for you.
Walt, how's the MJ doing?
Justin, looks like you're the main contact man for any of our guys at Jeeptoberfest (I now have to report back that weekend..! $%#@รท!!!)
Chris, hope your property was ok after the storms. See you at TK this month?
Everyone else, have a great day.
