3.55 D44's are not rare, that's the most common one around. He's tried selling it on here before but wants too much.

 

Good morning guys. Rotating assembly is complete. I installed and timed the camshaft last night. All that's left is gasket set and header and bolt one of my D44's under. Might use the Trac-lock one but it needs new clutches.

 

Good Morning All! So i've been saving as I want to get some basic tools. There are still some projects that need to be done that are beyond me but I want to learn and tackle some myself where possible! Cheaper that way too!

So here's the question to you....Whats one tool you each couldn't live without in your tool box while working on your XJ? Give me some tips on what to get.

3/8s Sae and metric socket set 3/8 adjustable ratchet
1/2 Sae and metric socket set 1/2 adjustable ratchet
Torx socket set,
1/4 socket set Sae/metric
Phillips screw driver, flathead screwdriver, needle nose pliers, wire cutter,
36mm socket, 28mm socket, 3lb hammer...
There's a lot missing....but the adjustable ratchets help sooo much with stubborn bolts because they give extra length for more force...

 

Thanks for all the thoughts guys! Anyone have good experience with cordless impact wrench? I have a very small air compressor (husky air scout) just don't know if it's gonna keep up the 90psi needed for air tools. Heard some good reviews on some cordless that put out 300-600'lbs
