Look for a dark blue XJ with white fenders and alot of rust, it'll have a huge DC sticker in the back windshield, thats me.

Had a blast!!!

Fought my overheating problem for the better part of Saturday, but ended up by-passing the heater core while at Hard Rock, and it behaved the rest of the time. Today though, was the all out thrashing fest on my truck, wanted to see what it really could and couldn't do. Took it down the modified course once, it went like a dream, but on the second pass, I got a little throttle happy and snapped the rear u-joint straps.

Went 24 hours without sleep between the trip up there, then literally removing and re-installing a transmission in a YJ & an axle in a Tacoma over night in the hotel parking lot. Legit weekend!

 

Nice meeting you out there at Camp Hard Rock, My group had a awesome time at both Jeeptoberfest and Wheelin and camping at Hard rock..There are some pics in my build thread if anyone wants to look, and feel free to leave any comments.....

 

^^ Good meeting you too! Wish my club wasn't so ansy to get rolling, otherwise I would have rolled over and had a beer with you guys. Hope to see you out at the next event sometime in the near future, but not too near, still gotta switch to an open cooling system & repair my rear u-joint issue.
