I do want to go ride the cove one day soon. Never been there though, so will need a guide for that one.

Aetna Saturday sounds like the plan. Meet at the Cracker Barrel at exit 174 of I-24, 10am.

Don't let a 1/2" of rain two days prior scare you. We'd be lucky to have it knock down the dust a little!

How are the trails and how much riding can be done up on aetna? I have only tried to go there one time and that was back about 5 years ago and all the gates were closed and I didn't want problems with cops so I went home. I only got 2 1/2 inch of lift and 31s and I don't like to beat my jeep up.

If you don't want scratches and a decent chance of body damage then I wouldn't suggest riding with the majority of dudes here.
Body damage is part of wheeling..

Scratches are fine but I don't need body damage.Body damage is not part of wheeling when I go,maybe I have just been lucky but I go riding quite a bit and have yet to do more then a rocker panel dent.I still have to drive my jeep home after a ride so I don't need to break stuff.

There's a variety of stuff at Aetna, you could come ride and not break or bash anything.

Dave, you wheeled that 88 with 3" and 31's for a while and I don't recall anything more than a loose fender flare. You're not there anymore, but it can be done easily!

Come on out SomeGuy, look forward to meeting you.

You must not have had much of a taste of much harder wheeling.
Aetna you can usually get out of with no dents, lewis chapel and big fork are different stories.

Some of the harsher stuff has bypasses..but other times you just have to know what your jeep can do..body damage sometimes unavoidable

That's when I was a noob.
last 2 jeeps (both of which were daily drivers) took some decent knocks to various parts of the body.

Silver got the hatch dented, rockers, and the rear bumper from trying to be a hero on the first drop at lc

Then my poor 2 door got abused a lot in a short amount of time

Dents just add character. Barney was purdy till one night on Aetna when the Bud courage kicked in and I flopped it. It got the sawzall treatment the next weekend.
