Trying to get a few things upgraded before the cove ride on the 18th...
I can get a UTK steering setup with 1.75" .120 DOM and 3/4" heims made for around $150... or I can go ZJ tie rod..

Thoughts?

So, my boss has asked me to take a look at his son's truck. It's 2006 Ford Ranger FX4. (4wd)

He says the drivers side front wheel is seriously tilted out. I'm thinking it's either a bad hub assembly or ball joint. More likely a hub.

What would you charge your boss (That you get along with) for labor on a job like that? Super easy job, just don't know what to charge him.

Get a quote from a shop, cut the price in half and add a case of beer

neither.. dont waste your money on either right now... keep saving and get something OTK... specially with your tire size...

I live in Vidalia, GA. I got a brand new XJ today actually and starting today I'm starting my road to my build. I plan on going to the Jeep Fest in Helen, GA in March 2015.
