What would you guys say would be a fair value of a 2004 lj rear dana 44? My working buddy has one he wants to get rid of and a 30 that matches it

 

Is it a rubi LJ? Can't remember if the rubi's are HP, but I don't think they are.

Pair of axles that are geared? Probably $600-$700.

 

Down here used axles run anywhere from 125-200 apiece.

 

Rubi axles are hp but doesn't sound like this is a rubi. LJs came with 30/44 package.

 

just a regular lj not a rubi I told him someone with a tj with a 35 may want the 44 rear and depending on their gear ratio they may want the front too

 

Yea, I think it would be great swap for someone looking to add some beef and eliminate the turdy5.

What gears are in them? Lockers?

 

Easy moneys... night shift is so much better... wish my old maintenance lead would have let me come here long ago... he kept saying he couldnt afford to lose me to the other crew lol... i hated some people on days though...


a TJ44 would be a good swap for a coiled rear XJ
