The air lines are crazy the way they install, everything is so close together, seems to me that your just asking for problems the way they install. Oh well it's not mine and I'm not 2grand into them lol.

I know I sure can't afford to have one, I can understand maybe a little more expensive than a regular locker but 7-800 more....nah!!

i can in a way for the strength... a full case locker makes the ring and pinion a much stronger setup... less flexing of the metal... so if you having problems chewing up gears than great! i see a detroit for my sterling 10.50 pop up a lot on pirate so i need to see why... its about $600... my front i think im going to spool cause it has lock out diffs so i would just need to jump out of a doorless MJ and unlock one side... i get out 50 million times anyways... lock it when i need it... the rear i need to ride on the road so we will see what i end up doing...

I took it off the Jeep before I traded it and I don't need it. Has 8 rain gutter mounts and 6 light tabs, 2 on the back, 4 on the front. Had some slight rust but mounts very solid.
Cat included for $5 extra.

If you were not so far away, I would take it off your hands. Hahira,Ga is almost Florida. The rack I am using I made it from a futon.

Quote: Don't waste your time or money on gears in the D35, get 8.8 or 8.25 or find a D44 out of a XJ.
If I do a gear swop I have to do the front and the rear. If it is a waste of time and money on the D35, does the same follow for the D30 in the front?

No.... The 30 is a solid axle unless your running 35's or bigger. And a lot depends what you do with your rig to, daily driver or any wheeling at all? There are a lot of after market parts to beef up the 30 as well

The 30 will be fine on 33's, 35 is as big as I would go. Chromo shafts or 760x u joints with full circle clips are a must, too.

Mine will be locked, shafted, and geared on 35's.

Post a pic of your Jeep.

mines locked... 297's (just the larger factory shafts)... and on 35's and i beat the **** out of it... no problems... not even a diff cover on it... lol... they hold up better than the internet makes you think... my buddys TJ is the same setup and he hadnt had a issue either... if i was staying with it then ya i would continue to build it a bit stronger but i wouldnt freak out about it like the internet will want you to... the dana 35 in the rear is complete junk though... you wont get anything for it if you do build it and decide later to upgrade finally... if 35's are about as big as you want 8.25's are a dime a dozen... get one from a 97-01 XJ... best model and of course all model XJ 8.25's will just bolt right in... they are worth throwing some money at...
