i did sleep on it - i just thought the issues wernt that big of a deal at first until i really started to tinker with it in my own driveway, i had sort of made the deal last thursday before i went on vacation so i had time to think on it and thought for the price and a little wrenching it would make a good family camping vehicle- oh well - lesson learned
and its not that bad of a jeep - i just really like the xj mj body style - but really like FSJ's
and he didnt drive from ohio - the guy who bought my xj drove from michagin but the guy i bought the zj from drove from gainsville georgia.

Personally, when I bought my XJ... I went into it thinking there was no way I'd buy a 2wd or a 2 door, but the thought of being without a vehicle for who knows how long got the better of me and now I'm stuck with a Jeep I don't really care for and that I have more money in than what it's worth.
Of course, I'm sort of assuming you don't LOVE ZJs.

No, I'm sure it's not that bad. Just fix everything, throw it on CL, and sell it. Then go get ya an MJ.

well iv been toying with it today and i really like the extra room, longer wheelbase, and the fact that i can pop the back glass only to reach in and not lift the tailgate - but - i still want a fullsize -
so my ZJ will be unofficially up for sale.
i got the sway bars fixed today, got a new drive shaft, and will order some shocks monday, get an adj. track bar and get it alighned. i dont want to sell it with the problems that it has.
im not really pressing to sell it, and i dont mind taking a loss, but im not going to give it away.
$2300 takes it- pass the word
