Any body knows how hard it would be to replace the back window????
need to know might possibly buy a jeep but the back glass is busted.

Hi guys,
might possiblly buying a jeep is a 96 2 door auto 2wd. the body is dented up on the drivers side pretty bad seems like some body hit going about 10 mph. also the fender on the passenger defenatly been hit (that im not worry about because i can go to pap and get a fender) the price is farely low. it runs still feels like it got power back window is busted they want $800 for it. i feel like that is little high what do you guys think?

Called a couple of offroad shops in the Huntsville area and both places said $350 per axle to install gears that I provide. WTF? $700 to just install the gears? Are they on crack? Looks like I will be doing this myself.

 

I'd offer $500 and no more personally. I know I have seen Cherokee's on CL in the huntsville area for 1k that didn't sound that bad.

 

thanks for answering. i tought it was high i offer $600 but he tought i was low balling him. i gave him my phone # in case he change his mind.the only thing is that i want another jeep really bad we sold my little brother and mine. i love my civic but i NEED a Cherokee.

Yeah not that bad, but that cherokee is really clean. Im looking for one under 1000 is more just for a summer vehicle so i can take my love to the lake and not have to worry about getting our dailydriver stuck somewhere. But if you know of anything around that price please let me know
