I hear ya. The new obstacles were awesome. The green cj was the first rig to make it up this one.

This guy was one of the first to make it up too. He was running racing fuel and pushing about 500hp.

Hopefully, I'll see you out there the 8th.

If I can get my lockers and gears in by then, I will go. I miss Grey Rock......even though it is slowly disappearing.

It depends. He is a college student that has pretty good welding and fab skills. For reference, he quoted me $500 for a custom rear bumper with shackles, hitch reciever, and tire carrier. Thats pretty good considering what other "vendors" are asking. He really messes more with CJs and TJs but he has no problem doing an XJ. Look him up on Huntsville Craigslists under Auto Parts. There will be alot of pictures of custom bumpers and sliders.

$500 is super cheap! I have a buddy going to Auburn to be an mechanical engineer who also is a wheelin buddy of mine... That is going to help me make a bumper. We are in the process of drawing it up. He Fab'd his own sliders and rear winch bumper on his Yota! Very good work!

That is a sweet bumper. I like the transparency of tube bumpers like that. Hmmmmm
