Ya I'm new to the Birmingham area. Out here from Cali. Any good trails/mud holes to hit up around here? Anyone planning a get together or something?

LOL, yeah there are many places to go. I know up here in North Alabama/Huntsville area, there are many places to go.
Down in Bham there is Grey Rock ORV(although they may close down or cut back on availability of trail rides), and some ORV near Talladega area. Those are the only 'official' places I know of...........but there are many many many places you can go to get dirty. Look around on here and you will find some guys in Bham, there are a few. GAP is pretty good, just really small. Lots of huge mud pits and lots of rock crawling (a little more on the extreme side). Not as many trails though. Its a go an watch type park.
I'm planning on heading to stony lonesome this weekend with some tacomas and jeeps if anyone is interested in some light wheeling (can't break anything since I'm not trailering the xj this time). There's going to be about 10 of us if yall wanna join.

From Gadsden/Hokes Bluff area have had this XJ for about 3 months here in about 2 weeks im going down to rusty's and getting a 3inch lift. Any body on here ever rode TREAT MTN starts in Alabama ends in Georgia or vice versa??
never heard of it? Is it near centre? Kinda like a mountain ridge that starts in Gadsden and goes east?
No it starts outside of piedmont on treat mtn rd and ends in esom hills Georgia very rough place to go riding as the time I went helped a guy start a truck which he cut the vin#s out of 4 four wheelers dumped with the trailers and 2 missing cops where found dead but other than that devil worshiper storys and crazy peopled from the town. But its some great riding a creek at the beginning to play in but great trail like riding on a public road that's scattered with mud holes
took us roughly 5 hours too hit everything. Here's some video links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoJW...e_gdata_player
