I know the feeling. Anytime my jeep makes a strange noise I start thinking of the absolute worse case scenario. How recent have the back brakes been done? It could be shoes, or if they are slipping maybe be axle seals leaking. Hope you get it figured out.

 

I also know the feeling. The other day I was freaked out because the jeep was dead silent going down the highway...... and as we all probably know that's not normal.

 

Just had the brakes in the rear done middle of December along w/ seals, bearings, etc. Turns out the seals were leaking a tiny bit so they fixed that plus the noise was a piece of the hardware came loose on the shoe on the right side and that was making the noise so thankfully it's all fixed now free of charge. When I get new shafts and or the disc brake kit For the rear I'm going to get the Alloy USA seals to make sure I don't have a problem for a long time with seals.

 

Where are you guys in ohio? I know grove city is up near columbus. Vonguido, what part are you from? I live down in the Mason ohio area, near kings island.

 

I'm in Columbus. Used to live in grove city but moved a couple months back. I know roughly where your at.

Went to turn rt on a side street, turned the wheel, and slid right thru it. Smh... just another thing to fix come spring.
