Got a new battery in the jeep today. 34/78Plt from oreillys. Amazing a difference your battery can make. It's a AGM type battery and has 750 cca. It's got the dual terminal, either top or side post, which I figure the side posts would work for adding a winch and lights later on down the road.

 

Went to the West Virginia hunting and fishing show the other day. There was a group from the hatfield-McCoy trail system and found out the recently opened an area for ohv use. Seems like some good trails. Have some easy, moderate and difficult stuff. Roll cage required for the difficult. Also required to have a helmet.

So started driving the jeep today and had this horrible clunking sound from the rear end. I just had everything but the R&P, and axle shafts replaced on the Dana 44.
The noise would get worse the faster I got then the brakes started to slip when I hit the brakes. Just dropped it off at the Midas that did the work. I pray to God it's not the ring and pinion.

 

Cool, thats only a 20min drive. Anyways, I could use some help on a lot of things. I dont know much about mechanical work and I am pretty new at it. I plan to get a lift here very soon and I would love to put it on myself with some help.
