Looks like "saline township" if I made out the writing on the door in one of the pictures.

LSD's are made for both. Eaton makes a good lsd. Or you could go with an auto locker

I run a welded rear end and its my daily. Just wears the tires more. And probably will suck come winter. LOL
I think I scored and made out well on this deal. The guy I got it off of said that it has a posi in it! So when I get home tonight I need to tear it down and have fingers crossed, not really in that order though. . He wasn't sure though if it was a d35 or 8.25 though. Hoping it's the 8.25. I'll have to swap the internals however cause the shock mounts are broke.

The 8.25 has a flat flange on the bottom.

Axle tunes were different right as well? I figure that may get me the closest to figuring it out. May have a buddy come over later and help me out on it.

Just got the axle apart. Got a great deal! Opened it to find a LSD looking back at me! Now I need to find the bearing tool for the axle or have one made up

Awesome, now all you need is an auto locker in the front and you are in there!

It would be sweet to get a paycheck to cruise the trails.I'd like the idea of not paying to fix a rig I get to beat on in the woods to.lol

I've seen it a bunch of times.I've seent it at the look out,the ville and last time was when it was escorting an ambulance out of freezone to a waiting life flight.Saline township operates both the hummer and the life flight.

Ooopsy, never mind I forgot I broke one. They still work fine, but one is about a half inch shorter.

Personally I would buy the coil spacers. 3in springs are way over rated. Also they make your jeep ride like a truck. I had coil spacers and never had a problem, great ride. Put these 3" coil springs on an busted one.

I will give them to you if you want them. Up to you.
